ABOUT US
Dr Stephen Clune is a sustainable designer, researcher and educator with over 10 years experience. His experience includes working as a Senior Lecturer and researcher in sustainable design at the Imagination Lab at Lancaster University, UK. Prior to this Stephen was a Research Fellow at the Centre for Design, RMIT University in Melbourne.
He has worked on a wide range of applied sustainability research projects. From the role of packaging in preventing food waste, to facilitating workshops on climate adaptive landscape solutions in regional Victoria.
Stephen studied Industrial Design, and has experience in user research, workshop facilitation, co-design, service design, and UX.
Stephen’s core interest focuses on how design (and design thinking) can assist in the move towards a sustainable society, with a particular interest in design as a facilitator of change. Stephen is committed to assisting you enhance the sustainability of your organisation or community, drawing on a diverse range of tools from social practice theory, behavioural change, Life Cycle Analysis and design thinking.
